Fashion, photography, music, art, sports, gastronomy and R+D+I come together in the Talent on Board program, promoted by Iberia to elevate and connect the best Spanish talent with the world, exporting it to the almost 50 countries in which where it operates and where it connects travellers, stories and cultures. The Madrid photographer María Platero reinterprets these ‘territories’ of action to make them visible and turn them into evocative images that speak of the creativity, culture and research carried out in Spain and of the dreams fulfilled and to be fulfilled of the artists, scientists and athletes who every day they strive in our country to give the best of themselves.
Platero’s constructed images, which can be seen on Madrid’s street furniture, are calculated actions that intersect with the potentialities of documentary photography to record ephemeral events. Randomness, unstable balance or the idea of drift between the planned and the improvised are some of the ideas that he frequently tackles in his personal projects.

Las imágenes construidas de Platero, que podrán verse en el mobiliario urbano de Madrid, son acciones calculadas que se entrecruzan con las potencialidades de la fotografía documental para registrar hechos efímeros. Aleatoriedad, equilibrio inestable o la idea de la deriva entre lo planificado y lo improvisado son algunas de las ideas que con frecuencia aborda en sus proyectos personales.
